A variety of scholarships are available to Caymanians and Caymanian Status Holders. Please review our list of available scholarships, which outlines the application deadlines, application process, and eligibility criteria for scholarships offered by private firms.
International students are also encouraged to apply for scholarship opportunities and may wish to explore the Cayman Scholarships Directory for additional options.
Take a look at our Tuition & Fees to see the costs for Caymanians/Qualified Residents/International Students.
Check our Academic Calendar for dates of New Student Orientation. At the Orientation, you’ll learn about UCCI, how to use our Campus Connect/Blackbaud systems, services offered to students by the Admissions & Registration Office and Student Life Office, information on scholarships, and much more for making a smooth transition to university life at UCCI.
You may be a First-Time Student who is Caymanian/Qualified Resident and is seeking to have credits transferred from another University (overseas or local).
Alternatively, you may be an International Student seeking to complete your studies at UCCI.
A completed Transfer of Credit request form supported by an official transcript addressed to the Admissions Manager is required in order for transfer credits to be processed. Only courses passed with a minimum grade of “C” at another approved tertiary institution are eligible for transfer credit. Eligible grades must not predate the transfer request by more than 10 years. However, courses in certain disciplines, e.g. Information Technology, the contents of which easily become non-current over time, may be deemed ineligible for transfer credits. The course must be similar in title and reflect at least 80% of the content of the course it is replacing. In cases where the course being transferred is of a higher credit value, only the value at UCCI will be credited. External transfer credits are represented on transcripts with a “TR” instead of an actual grade. Courses completed at UCCI may be transferred using the actual grade to another internal programme, regardless of age, provided their content is still current. Transfer requests will be evaluated only after the prospective student has applied to UCCI and paid the application fee.
Once you have received an Acceptance Letter, you are required to provide Immigration Documentation to the UCCI Admissions Team to ensure compliance with Cayman Islands Immigration Law. This documentation must be submitted before paying and registering for any classes at UCCI. To ensure that this documentation is provided before the closure of the class registration period; it is recommended that you apply at least three (3) months in advance of your desired semester of entry.
If you have further questions about Cayman Islands Immigration Law, contact the Cayman Islands' Customs & Border Control directly (https://www.gov.ky/immigration).
If a student is under 18 years old, parents or legal guardians listed on the birth certificate or court documents have the right to access certain student information, such as academic records and financial statements.
If a student is 18 years or older, no information can be shared with any third party without the student’s consent. To grant access, the student must complete a Release of Academic Records form through the Campus Connect portal.
