Ms. Nanalie Cover is President and Chief Executive Officer of the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI), having assumed office on 1 July 2026. Her appointment marks a historic milestone for UCCI, as she is the University’s first Caymanian female President.
Ms. Cover is a respected member of the UCCI community, having previously served as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer and as Vice President of Business and Operations. In these roles, she provided leadership in strengthening the University’s operational foundations, advancing strategic initiatives and supporting the delivery of high-quality services to students, faculty, staff and community stakeholders.
As President and CEO, Ms. Cover provides strategic leadership and oversight as UCCI advances its academic and workforce development programmes, enhances the student experience and strengthens its contribution to the Cayman Islands. She works collaboratively with the Board of Governors, faculty, staff, students, the Ministry of Education and community partners to advance the University’s mission and position UCCI as the institution of choice for further and higher education in the Cayman Islands.

The President of UCCI serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the University College of the Cayman Islands, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.
