The Associate of Arts in Social Sciences at UCCI provides students with foundational knowledge in psychology, sociology, and political science, emphasizing critical thinking and research skills. This programme prepares graduates for entry-level roles in education, social services, and community outreach or for further study in UCCI’s Bachelor of Social Sciences programme. With a focus on Caribbean society, social change, and global issues, students gain a well-rounded perspective on human behavior and societal structures.
Role: Works with organizations to plan and deliver outreach programmes, engage community members, coordinate events, and support initiatives aimed at social development and public awareness.

Role: Provides instructional and classroom support to teachers, assists with lesson delivery, works with students individually or in small groups, and supports learning activities in social science–related subjects.
